Forget the harsh chemicals. These great products speak to a healthy mane and lifestyle.
Today we are spotlighting two of our favorite brands that are speaking to a whole new generation of earth conscious clients and stylists alike. With natural botanical ingredients these products won’t add to the climate pollution problem and will out perform some of your favorite medicine cabinet staples. Just sayin’.
The first brand we are sharing with you is the product line Reverie, by Garrett Markenson out of LA. Its so niche and sexy with the sleek black and white packaging only lending to the intrigue, with names like Milk, Rake and Mare to name a few standouts. The minimalist design eventually gives way to the lines beautiful scents (why isn’t Milk a candle yet?) and their outstanding performance. For the hair thirsty we used Milk, its lightweight texture offers a greaseless suppleness to the hair and hydrates parched ends. Mare is their salt spray and its light and never crunchy or tacky feeling in the hair, just a perfect approach to salty sun kissed ends. The scents work well together and never overwhelm. Its ingredients are ethically sourced from farms locally and internationally.
Up next is Cult and King, a new brand out of Salt Lake City created by founder Jared and his wife. What struck us first was the beautiful packaging. Gorgeous glass bottles that look divine absolutely anywhere they are placed and are thoughtfully designed and a conscious way of removing plastics out of our ecosystem. Our favorites are Tonik a multi use leave in conditioning spray and the hair Balm which we adore and can be used to add shine and softness with an out of this world scent. Our clients fall in love with its scent and feel like they are having an aromatherapy session in the chair every time we use it. The brand also retails to stylists, combs made out of steel. How cool is that!
Both product lines are sold in the salon and speak to a client whose tastes are discerning and lifestyles are eco chic.
